Ad Manager overview

One workbench for Meta and Google campaigns — what Zyan syncs, what it can change, and why every budget or bid edit waits for you to press Apply.

Ad Manager puts your Meta and Google campaigns in one list, pulls their current metrics from the provider, and gives you a place to change a budget without opening two other consoles. What it deliberately does not do is change anything on its own. Every edit is staged, reviewed and applied by a person.

Before you start

Ad Manager is an owner-only nav entry and needs the Google Ads plan feature. The Meta Ads tab only appears when Meta Ads is part of your plan. You also need the provider account connected under SettingsIntegrations — Google Ads by owner OAuth, Meta Ads by verified credentials.

The Ad Manager cross-platform overview with spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, cost per click and conversions
Google and Meta in one set of numbers. The platform tabs above split the same window by network when the combined view hides something.

The workbench

Open GrowthAd Manager. The header subtitle counts what you are looking at: visible, Meta, Google and hidden campaigns.

ControlWhat it does
Platform tabsAll, Meta Ads, Google Ads — each with a count badge
SyncPulls fresh metrics and campaign state. The label follows the tab: Sync All, Sync Meta, Sync Google
New CampaignCreates the campaign record in Zyan
TemplatesSaved campaign templates
Daily budget (inline, Google rows)Stages a budget change — it does not apply it

With no Google account connected the tab reads Connect a Google Ads account and Connect a Google Ads account in Settings to sync campaigns.

Campaign records and live campaigns are two different things

This trips people up constantly.

What it isWhere it lives
Campaign recordZyan's own record: client, project, budget, schedule, external IDs, check-in cadenceCreated with New Campaign
Live provider campaignThe actual campaign running at Google or MetaSynced in from the provider

Creating a record in Zyan does not create a campaign at Google. Syncing does not create records. The External Campaign ID and Ad Account ID fields on the record are how you tie the two together.

Nothing reaches the provider until you apply it

Staged edits sit in a bar at the bottom of the list that says so outright: Nothing applied until you review it. Opening the review sheet shows every change as a before-and-after, with magnitude chips on anything large, and hard money guards that refuse a change the server would reject anyway.

Paid spend stays under owner control

There is no rule, schedule or agent in Zyan that changes a budget or a bid by itself. The AI agents propose; you approve. The review sheet is explicit: You are approving this list yourself. No rule decides anything here, and nothing reaches Google until you press Apply.

What the AI agents do

Two chat assistants sit inside Ad Manager. The Ads Agent works on one campaign; the Portfolio Agent reasons across the campaigns you select. Both analyse, explain and propose. Neither executes.

Limits worth knowing before you plan around them

Three things that are not what they look like

  • The Meta auto-approve rules card stores rules but nothing evaluates them. Every Meta agent action still requires a manual approval. Do not plan around automatic execution.
  • Meta ad changes are approve-or-reject only. The money request is dispatched exactly once and never retried, and an approval expires after 24 hours.
  • Ad Revenue reports Adsterra publisher earnings only. Other networks appear in the picker and say honestly that they are not available yet.
