Apollo sequences

Mirror your Apollo sequences, contacts and replies inside Zyan, edit steps and the sender, and know when the mirrored numbers are stale enough to distrust.

Apollo works the same way Smartlead does: Zyan mirrors your Apollo sequences rather than running them. You connect your own Apollo key, and OutboundCampaignsApollo shows the sequences with their steps, contacts, replies and the time of the last sync.

Before you start

You need the Leads plan feature, and either owner or prospecting access. The Apollo API key is connected under SettingsIntegrationsApollo. Without the plan feature the surface bounces you out.

Connect and sync

Connect the key

SettingsIntegrationsApollo — as an owner, or with prospecting access.

Open the mirror

OutboundCampaignsApollo — your sequences appear with steps, contacts and reply counts.

Refresh Apollo

Pulls the latest mirror and analytics. Do this before you read numbers that matter.

Open a sequence

Edit its steps and audience, and set the sender.

What the mirror shows

On the pageRead it as
Sequence stepsThe steps as Apollo has them, editable here
ContactsWho is enrolled in the sequence
RepliesReplies Apollo has recorded against the sequence
Last syncWhen the mirror last pulled — the age of everything above

Last sync is the number that decides whether the rest is trustworthy. A mirror pulled yesterday is fine for a glance and wrong for a report.

SenderWhich active Apollo sender account the sequence sends from. Sender accounts themselves are managed in Apollo.
Refresh ApolloRe-pulls the mirrored sequences, contacts and analytics, and updates the last-sync time.

Amber notices mean the numbers are not current

An amber notice on this page means the mirror is stale or only partially synced. Refresh before you quote a reply rate to a client — a partial sync under-counts in a way that looks like a real result.

Fix sender problems in Apollo, not here

Zyan can choose between the sender accounts Apollo reports as active. It cannot create one, reconnect one, or repair one. No active Apollo sender is a message about your Apollo account.

Apollo, Smartlead or a Zyan sequence?

All three send cold email, and running the same audience through more than one is how people get their domain filtered. Pick one home per audience.

  • Keep it in Apollo if your prospect data and sender accounts already live there and you only want visibility inside Zyan.
  • Use Smartlead if that is where your inbox rotation is set up — see Smartlead campaigns.
  • Use a Zyan sequence when you want the cadence sending from your own mailbox, with Zyan's caps, warmup and reply triage around it.
