Smartlead campaigns

Mirror your Smartlead cold-email campaigns inside Zyan, build one with the five-step composer, and understand why Stop is irreversible and the master pause does not reach it.

If your cold email already runs in Smartlead, Zyan mirrors it rather than replacing it. You connect your own Smartlead API key, and OutboundCampaignsSmartlead shows your campaigns, mailboxes, enrolled leads and events — plus a composer for building a new campaign without leaving Zyan.

Before you start

Connecting the Smartlead API key is owner-only, under SettingsIntegrationsSmartlead. Viewing the mirror needs owner or marketing access. The Smartlead surface is hidden inside the iOS admin app, so use a browser on a computer.

Connect and read the mirror

Connect the key

SettingsIntegrationsSmartlead, as an owner. Until this is done the page reads Smartlead is not connected.

Open the mirror

Your Smartlead campaigns and synced mailboxes appear under the Smartlead pill on the campaigns hub.

Open a campaign

The detail view carries its enrolled leads and its event history.

Build a campaign

The composer is five steps.

Name

The campaign name, as it will appear in Smartlead.

Mailboxes

Pick which synced Smartlead senders the campaign uses.

Sequence

Between one and ten steps. Step 1 requires a subject; subjects run to 250 characters, bodies to 20,000, and waits from 1 to 90 days.

Schedule

Timezone, sending days, and the window start and end.

Review

Then create. The campaign is created paused.

A new campaign is paused until you activate it

Creating a campaign never starts sending. Activate sits behind a confirmation that names the real sending about to happen — that confirmation is the only thing standing between a draft sequence and your prospects' inboxes.

Stop cannot be undone, and the master pause does not reach Smartlead

Smartlead cannot restart a stopped campaign, so Stop only appears on an active campaign and should be treated as final. Separately: Zyan's master pause under OutboundSettingsStatus covers the Zyan outreach plane only. Smartlead runs on its own infrastructure and keeps sending. Pause Smartlead campaigns here or in Smartlead itself.

Two kinds of truncation notice

They look similar and mean different things.

NoticeMeansDo
A sync-side notice saying data may be missingRows were never mirrored from SmartleadRe-sync before trusting totals
A read-side notice about showing the most recent rowsOne page is capped; the data existsNarrow your filter, or page through
