Send a one-time marketing email

Build a broadcast email end to end — sender, content, recipients, tracking and scheduling — and read the campaign detail page once it has gone out.

A one-time email is a single marketing message sent once to a list, a set of leads, or addresses you paste in. It is the right tool for a newsletter, a price change or an announcement to people who already know you. It is the wrong tool for cold outreach — that is a sequence.

Before you start

You need marketing edit access, a sender — either a verified marketing sending domain or a connected Gmail or Microsoft 365 mailbox — and a physical mailing address saved under OutboundSettingsAutomation controls. The address is a legal requirement for marketing email, and sends are refused without it.

The one-time emails list with a sent, a scheduled and a draft broadcast, showing recipients, open rate and click rate
Open and click rates only appear once a broadcast has sent. A scheduled one shows its recipient count and its date and nothing else.

Campaign Details

Fill Campaign Name — internal only — plus the Subject Line and preview text.

Send from

Choose Marketing domain, a Gmail mailbox or Microsoft 365, then set From Name and Reply-To.

Email Content

Pick a saved template, or paste your own HTML.

Recipients

Leads, Email Lists or Manual Entry. You can combine them.

Tracking Options

Track Opens and Track Clicks.

Send Options

Send immediately, or pick a Date and Time.

Review and test

Read the Summary, use Send Test to see the real thing in your own inbox, then send.

The From Email is not yours to set

Only From Name and Reply-To are editable. The address the email is sent from is the verified marketing identity, because a sender you have not verified would be rejected by the receiving mail servers. If you need replies elsewhere, that is what Reply-To is for.

Reading the results

The campaign detail page carries the stats, the recipient list, an activity log and the test-send control. What those stats mean depends on how you sent.

0% opens after a mailbox send is not a failure

Mailbox sends go through your own Gmail or Microsoft account, which does not report opens, clicks, bounces or complaints back to Zyan. The only meaningful number on a mailbox campaign is unsubscribes. If open and click rates matter to you, send from the marketing domain.
