Website visitors
Review the people identified on your client sites before any of them become leads — the Pending, Kept and Discarded tabs, held rows and bulk triage.
Website visitor identification resolves anonymous traffic on a client site to a person or company and delivers it to Zyan. Those deliveries do not go straight into your lead queue. They wait at LeadsVisitors until you decide, one at a time or in bulk, which are worth working.
That triage step is the point. An identified visitor never asked to hear from you, so the list needs a human before it becomes outreach.
Before you start
You need the Website visitors plan feature, the leads permission, and at
least one connected LeadPost site. LeadPost is your own account and you pay
them directly — see Connect an external
form for the site setup.

This feature is off until someone arms it
Visitor identification is provider-gated and the plan feature is deny-by-default. If Visitors is missing from the Lead Manager header, or the page shows “No BYO visitor-ID sites yet” instead of the tabs, the feature or the site connection is not in place yet. Talk to an owner.
Triage the inbox
Open Visitors
LeadsLead ManagerVisitors. The header link carries a badge with the pending count.
Narrow to one site if you want
Filter by site limits the inbox to a single LeadPost site. Leave it on All sites to work everything at once.
Work the Pending tab
Keep the visitors worth pursuing. Discard the rest.
Check the Discarded tab if you change your mind
Restore puts a discarded row back.
Kept visitors become leads in Lead Manager, where they appear under the Cold outreach origin view.
The three tabs
| Tab | Holds | Offers |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | Everything waiting for a decision | Keep and Discard |
| Kept | Visitors you turned into leads | Nothing — work them in Lead Manager |
| Discarded | Visitors you rejected | Restore |
The tab you are on is written into the URL as ?status=, so you can bookmark or
share the view.
Held rows
Some rows arrive with a hold and a reason, because keeping them blindly would cause a problem:
- Held: matches an existing client — review before keeping. Someone at a business you already work with was on the site. Treat it as an account signal, not a new lead.
- Held: no email to verify against your client list — review before keeping. Zyan could not check the row against your clients, so it will not guess.
Read the reason before you act. A hold is a prompt to look, not a block.
What you can and cannot see
Email addresses are not shown in the inbox
A row shows only whether an email is present, as a chip — never the raw address. The address travels with the lead if you keep the visitor.
A row that has already become a lead can no longer be discarded or restored. The lead is the record now; change it in Lead Manager.
Bulk triage
You can keep or discard many rows at once. Bulk triage is capped per run, and the summary afterwards tells you exactly what succeeded and what did not — read it rather than assuming the whole selection went through.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| There is no Visitors link | The plan feature or the leads permission is missing | Ask an owner |
| The page says No BYO visitor-ID sites yet | No LeadPost site is connected | Add a site on the LeadPost card in Settings → Integrations |
| No visitors are arriving | The site is still Pending install, or LeadPost delivery is not enabled | Activate the site in Zyan, then run Test Webhook and Enable in LeadPost |
| Keep and Discard are missing on a row | You are on the Kept or Discarded tab | Only Pending rows offer them |
| A row cannot be discarded | It already became a lead | Work it in Lead Manager instead |
| A bulk run only handled some rows | Bulk triage is capped per run | Read the summary and run it again for the rest |
| You cannot see a visitor's email | The inbox shows presence only, never the address | Keep the visitor; the address travels with the lead |
