Meet Zyan AI
The AI assistant lives in two places — a full-screen workspace and a panel docked beside your work. What it can do, what it never does, and what has to be switched on.
Zyan AI comes in two shapes. HomeZyan AI is a full-screen chat workspace with conversation history, folders, a document library and durable memory. The Assistant dock is a narrow panel you open on any admin page, which already knows which page you are on and which record is open.
They share memory and they share the same rule: the assistant proposes, you approve. Nothing is created, changed or sent until you click.
Zyan AI has to be switched on for your workspace
Both surfaces are gated by per-workspace flags as well as by your plan and permissions. You need the ai_assistant plan feature and the zyan_ai permission (owners have it), and the workspace flag switched on. A workspace on the right plan can still have the feature switched off entirely, in which case neither the nav entry nor the dock icon appears at all.
Two more gates sit inside: voice mode needs the separate ai_voice plan feature and its toggle does not render without it, and the assistant's text line ("Continue by text") is behind its own separate flag. Do not assume either is available because the assistant is.

What it can act on
The assistant can propose real changes — tasks, reminders, notes, lead updates — and each one arrives as a card with Approve, or Review & create if you want to edit the details first. It can also draft replies for email, SMS and campaign composers.
It drafts communication, it never sends it
Insert into reply drops the drafted text into the page's own composer. You still press send. The assistant has no path to send an email or an SMS on your behalf, and memory is only ever written when you click.
Some tools deliberately stop and wait: creating a document and running a website audit both pause mid-answer for your approval before they run.
What it knows
On the Zyan AI page it knows the conversation, whatever you attached, and your saved memory. In the dock it also reads the page context — an inbox thread, a client, an SMS conversation, a project, a lead, a marketing campaign or an outbound campaign, plus a page-level hint on the dashboard, clients, calendar, requests, work, team, analytics, files, SEO, approvals, announcements, automations, notes, bookkeeping, payroll, sales and settings pages.
That is why the same question gives a better answer from the dock while you have the record open than it does from a blank page.
Your workspace may look different
Some workspaces run a newer unified workflow presentation of HomeZyan AI: a task-based workspace with its own Settings dialog instead of the conversation workspace. The capabilities overlap but the screens do not match one to one.
