Connect and manage social accounts

Connect Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile, then read connection health, set a default account, and fix a login before a scheduled post fails.

Connecting a social account and managing one happen in two different places, which is the single most common source of confusion here. You connect under SettingsIntegrations. You manage — health, permissions, defaults, disconnecting — under Content CenterAccounts. There are no login buttons on the Accounts tab, by design.

Before you start

You need the Accounts permission to see this tab, and edit access to change anything on it. Connecting the account itself is done from Settings → Integrations, which is usually owner territory.

Each connection shows its own status. Stats stay paused until insights are switched on for the workspace — a connected account is not automatically a measured one.

Connect an account

Open the integrations page

SettingsIntegrations — find Facebook & Instagram, LinkedIn or Google Business Profile.

Log in and grant access

Facebook and Instagram are one connection — you pick the Page, and the Instagram account attached to it comes with it.

Open the Accounts tab

Content CenterAccounts — the account now appears in the rail with a status pill.

Tell Zyan what the account is for

Set Use this account forYour posts, A client's account, or Internal only.

Set a default

Switch Default for new posts on for the account you publish to most. It becomes the pre-selected destination in the publish dialog.

The three lenses

Each account has its own workspace, switched by a segmented control.

Connection health

Connection details is where you check whether an account is really working. It carries two separate readings that people often confuse.

ReadingValuesMeans
Status pillConnected, Needs re-login, Disconnected, ErrorWhether Zyan can talk to the account at all
Login healthHealthy, Expiring soon, Expired, UnknownThe state of the stored login token

Expiring soon is the useful one. It is your window to log in again before a scheduled post fails, rather than after.

Re-subscribe notificationsRe-arms the Meta update subscription so new messages, comments and post events reach you. This applies to every connected Page, not only this one.
Reload statusRe-reads the last-activity facts shown on the panel.
DisconnectStops messages and posting for this account until you reconnect from Settings → Integrations.

Publishing readiness is three separate facts

An account can read Connected and still not publish. Readiness combines the Meta permission granted at login, the workspace publishing switch for that network, and whether a default account is set. The chips under Posting tell you which of the three is missing — read all three before assuming the connection is at fault.

Some capabilities are Meta's decision, not yours

Capability chips for Stats, Publishing and Comments can read needs Meta approval. Those scopes depend on Meta's App Review and cannot be granted from inside Zyan. LinkedIn and Google Business Profile publishing are connected in code but not yet verified end to end against a live account — treat a first publish to either as a test, not a client deliverable.
